Codicote Football Club

Codicote’s history and successes are long and varied and since 1912 Codicote F.C. has played its part in Senior Men’s league in Hertfordshire. At present, we have two sides playing in the Herts Senior County League. Codicote have once again expanded their youth section with an Under 16 and Under 14's team competing in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League.

 

Codicote Tennis Club

Codicote Tennis Club are one of the fastest growing and most successful village clubs in Hertfordshire. There are three floodlit courts which provide quality tennis opportunities whether you are young or old, beginner or advanced. These include Adult and junior coaching sessions, Sunday and Wednesday club sessions for all abilities, Rusty Racket sessions for the slightly nervous and Teams and leagues for those wishing to compete.

 

Codicote Cricket Club

The Cricket Club is making progress in the Saracen's League. The fixtures are from the end of April to the end of September. The Club's spacious changing and shower facilities are complemented by the Social Club, making it the complete package.

 

Stevenage Ladies Football Club

Stevenage Borough Ladies FC have been playing football at Bury Lane for a number of years and are enjoying success in the ERWF League, which they secured promotion to in the 2007/8 season.

 

Indoor Activities

The clubhouse also houses the Indoor Bowls Club and the Bingo Club. Bowls takes place during the winter months and can be on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Whereas the Bingo happens every Friday, come rain or shine, with the occasional break for functions.

The newly-formed Table Tennis Club is proving very popular with both existing and a few new members. There has been reasonable success in the league and cup, which is encouraging many players to try a more competitive game.

iDANCE

There is also the option to learn dance. Laura Wilson has started teaching Dance in the hall. She instructs in a huge variety of dance and fitness classes - something for everyone - from Salsa to Circuits to Linedance to Yoga! http://idance.org.uk
